A Message From Our President
Dear Members, Collaborators, and Supporters:
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Chicago Metropolitan Chapter, is committed to “Beeing A Courageous Advocate for Black Women and Girls.” We are here to uplift the social and economic status of Black women and Girls through advocacy programming in education, health, and economic empowerment. More importantly, we will be Courageous in fighting for equity and justice to Champion All Things for Black Women and Girls as we create a Sisterhood of Advocacy, building upon trust and transparency.
We will do our BEST to continue to:
- BUILD upon the momentum of getting into Good Trouble to impact public policy on local, state, and national levels,
- ENGAGE our membership to advocate for our local community and within our state to serve as a model chapter,
- STRENGTHEN our internal policies and operations, to increase our collaborations with increased monetary support from our partners, and to provide,
- TRANSPARENCY in all that we do to achieve our goals.
With your wind beneath our wings, nevertheless, we will soar in “Beeing A Courageous Advocate for Black Women and Girls” in Chicagoland, Illinois, and nationally!
Please check our site often to see, attend, and donate to our programming throughout our program year.
In Advocacy and Sisterhood,
Dr. Latrice Eggleston Williams, JM
