National Coalition of 100 Black Women
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) advocates on behalf of Black women and girls, promoting sisterhood, striving for maximum community impact, and preparing our youth for a bright future. The Core Values of our organization are Gender Equality, Inclusion, Respect, Racial & Social Justice, Integrity & Accountability, Economic Empowerment, and Collaboration.

NCBW is concerned about the well-being of the whole community and the whole person: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our primary focus will be advocacy in the areas of Family & Childhood Obesity, Cancer/Health Disparities, and Metabolic Disease.

NCBW defines economic empowerment as the ability to self-determine dreams, pursue them, and ultimately realize them by establishing the mechanisms to sustain generational wealth.

NCBW delivers support services that help youth achieve their educational goals. By supporting positive experiences, fostering a positive self-perception and self-respect, encouraging excellence in education and promoting the pursuit of positive lifelong goals, NCBW is creating future leaders.

public policy
NCBW influences civic engagement legislation that impacts the status of Black women and girls by supporting advocacy agendas. NCBW’s public policy initiatives support voter education, registration, & rights; increasing the number of Black women candidates running for political office; and issuing timely policy alerts and position papers on public policy issues.
Chicago Metropolitan Chapter
The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women was chartered on September 20, 2020, with a chartering group of 145 diverse women. The Chapter is located in the City of Chicago and serves the Chicagoland communities.
The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter’s membership is comprised of career professionals from all walks of life who are given the opportunity to advocate for issues of concern to Black women and girls. In addition, it provides leadership that elevates the quality of life for Black women, and serves as a vehicle to link Black women and girls to corporate and political sectors to enhance their own personal and professional development.
