providing empowerment

Advocacy empowers people and educates them. Advocacy is not only our responsibility; as citizens, it is our right.

National Coalition of 100 Black Women

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) advocates on behalf of Black women and girls, promoting sisterhood, striving for maximum community impact, and preparing our youth for a bright future. The Core Values of our organization are Gender Equality, Inclusion, Respect, Racial & Social Justice, Integrity & Accountability, Economic Empowerment, and Collaboration.

Health

NCBW is concerned about the well-being of the whole community and the whole person: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our primary focus will be advocacy in the areas of Family & Childhood Obesity, Cancer/Health Disparities, and Metabolic Disease.

Economic Empowerment

NCBW defines economic empowerment as the ability to self-determine dreams, pursue them, and ultimately realize them by establishing the mechanisms to sustain generational wealth.

education

NCBW delivers support services that help youth achieve their educational goals. By supporting positive experiences, fostering a positive self-perception and self-respect, encouraging excellence in education and promoting the pursuit of positive lifelong goals, NCBW is creating future leaders.

public policy

NCBW influences civic engagement legislation that impacts the status of Black women and girls by supporting advocacy agendas. NCBW’s public policy initiatives support voter education, registration, & rights; increasing the number of Black women candidates running for political office; and issuing timely policy alerts and position papers on public policy issues.
